On September 8th, four days before the start of Global Climate Action Summit and two months before the mid-term elections, people from across the country and around the world will come together to demand bold action on climate change.
Join us at the Open Space rally on Saturday, September 8 at 1:00 PM.
We are calling on our elected officials to commit to real solutions to the climate crisis that will create millions of new family-sustaining jobs, and include a guarantee that all communities impacted by climate change and the transition to a new energy economy are treated with justice and equity.
Speakers include Holly Bird, Tom Shomin, and Native Americans who will address climate from their unique perspective. Thanks to Lynn Van Ness for organizing the event.
Bring your own signs addressing climate change. This event is co-sponsored by NMEAC.
